Peter Bang-Knudsen is a 3rd generation merchant with three
decades of hands-on experience in manufacturing, retailing and
wholesaling fashionable high-quality products for the kitchen.
He is past-president and chairman of the International
Housewares Representatives Association and was one of the
founders of the International Gourmet Cookware Show. A leading
trade publication Gourmet Retailer named him “One of the
Individuals Who Shaped the Kitchenware Industry” in 2004.

His manufacturers’ representative agency in Seattle, Washington has been
a leader in the region for 28 years. He pioneered and developed brands
in his territory such as Cuisinarts®, AeroGarden™, OXO™, and
Jura-Capresso™. Bang-Knudsen developed a best-selling book for Starbucks
Coffee, Starbucks Passion for Coffee in partnership with Sunset
Publishers. He travels extensively and regularly to industry trade shows
in Europe and the U.S. His agency services retail stores including the
nationwide chain stores, the largest e-commerce retailer in the World,
mail order catalogs, specialty chains and over 400 independent specialty
retailers.
