Bang-Knudsen is a 3rd generation merchant with over three
decades of hands-on experience in manufacturing, retailing and
wholesaling fashionable high-quality products for the home. He
is past-President and Chairman of the International Housewares
Representatives Association and was one of the founders of the
International Gourmet Cookware Show. Peter is a Board Member of
Washington Association of Businesses. A leading trade
publication Gourmet Retailer named him “One of the
Individuals Who Shaped the Kitchenware Industry” in

His
manufacturers’ representative agency in Seattle, Washington has been a
leader in the region for over 30 years. He pioneered and developed
brands in his territory such as Cuisinarts®, Victorinox, AeroGarden™,
OXO™, and Jura-Capresso™. Bang-Knudsen developed best-selling books for
Starbucks Coffee, Starbucks Passion for Coffee and Starbucks
Pleasures of Summer in partnership with Sunset Publishers. He
travels extensively and regularly to industry trade shows in Europe and
the U.S. His agency services retail stores including nationwide chain
stores, the largest e-commerce retailer in the World, mail order
catalogs, specialty chains and over 400 independent specialty retailers.
